Brian has over 28 years of experience in sustaining recreational fisheries on still waters. A fisheries biologist, he is currently the Director of Sport Fishing Development for the Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC.

Brian has been an ardent fly fisher for the past 35 years and his love of fly fishing has led to the development of a secondary career as an author, lecturer and video producer of first-class fly fishing materials. Some of his past work includes authoring “Flyfishing Strategies for Stillwaters”, lecturing at the Federation of Fly Fishers conclaves, conducting a wide range of seminars, and producing videos and his latest DVD: “Expert Techniques for Stillwater Fly Fishing with Brian Chan.”
