An avid fly fisher for 40 years, Rick has done it all from Newfoundland to the Coast of Mexico, Belize and the Pacific. His new favourite is trolling flies for game fish off the coast of British Columbia. Despite his hectic work schedule in the construction industry in Edmonton, Rick manages to escape to the West Coast several times each summer to fly fish aboard his boat, aptly named “Pullin’ Hair”. For Rick, the waters of the northern Pacific offer numerous  exhilarating experiences and he's very excited to see how popular saltwater fly fishing is becoming on the coast. His newest fly designs, now carried exclusively by Superfly, reflect Rick's fascination with trophy fly fishing. And while his patterns may stray from the traditional, his experimentation with unorthodox methods and materials have shown great results, and that's what counts.
