Roman Victor Scharabun passes at age 52

On February 24, 2005 Roman Scharabun passed away peacefully. Roman’s legacy lives on through the many students he has taught the art of fly-fishing and fly tying and the innovative patterns he created. Roman was an innovator in the fly fishing community, and his original fly patterns continue to inspire tyers from around the globe. Superfly is proud to feature Roman’s RS Quad, SA Hopper as part of our Pro Staff fly program.  His family, and the many people whose lives he has touched over the years, will lovingly remember him.
