Scott has covered a lot of ground in the 15 years since he began fly fishing. He has been designing patterns for 10 years, and his original work has been featured in several fly fishing books. In 1999, Scott authored the popular Ontario Blue Ribbon Fly Fishing Guide. Scott writes outdoor-related articles for several magazines including Fly Fishing & Tying Journal, Midwest Fly Fishing, as well as a regular column in West Jet’s in-flight publication, AirLines. He does double duty as a field editor for Fly Fish America, Canadian Fly Fisher, and Outdoors’ Guide, a publication from northern Ontario. Scott has appeared on “The New Fly Fisher”, “The Venture North Outdoors Show” and has appeared in two episodes of “Gotta Go to Canada”, airing on Outdoor USA. In the midst of it all Scott still finds the time for some fly fishing, mainly on the north shore of Lake Superior.
